Ju Duoqi
Born in 1973 in Chongqing, Ju Duoqi graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts College. She currently lives and works in Beijing. Ju Duoqi’s kitchen is her studio, and vegetables are her paint. Using vegetables of all shapes and sizes, she recreates famous masterpieces. Her art breathes new life into ordinary vegetables, taking ‘green art’ to the extreme using everyday vegetables such as tofu, cabbage, ginger, lotus roots, coriander, and sweet potatoes.

Leaf little to the imagination: The glamour girls made entirely of cabbage All these girls look glamour and pose as if they were in fashion magazines even though they are made entirely of cabbage. The idea of the project belongs to Ju Duoqi who decided to incarnate “The Fantasies of Chinese Cabbage” in these unusual sculptures.
