Sleeping Coat red dot award: design concept 2009 With its dual function, the inflatable Sleeping Coat makes camping in the great outdoors a little more convenient. It’s refreshing to get away from work and the hustle and bustle of life in the city, but spending time in nature can be a challenge – carrying luggage and outdoor equipment, and being prepared for unpredictable weather can cause inconveniences. Functioning as both a windbreaker and a sleeping bag, Sleeping Coat overcomes some of these challenges. It is made with a lightweight waterproof fabric that keeps the body warm, and can be inflated to create a comfortable, warm sleeping bag. The lower part can also be detached to create a small mattress. Multiple pockets can be used to store personal items.
